Pterosaurs: Flight in the Age of Dinosaurs

The California Academy of Sciences is much more than a museum. It’s a cultural touchstone with a larger global mission, and at the forefront of science since 1853. Located within San Francisco’s famed Golden Gate Park, the Academy is the world’s only aquarium + planetarium + rainforest + living history museum and features a multitude of exhibits for its 46 million specimens.

This summer blockbuster exhibit features dinosaurs in flight. Some were as small as a sparrow. Others, as massive as a fighter jet. Whatever the size, pterosaurs make a BIG impact on the Bay with this epic new exhibit.
